Bio

Hi, my name is Ben. I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bowdoin College in Maine and an Honorary Lecturer in Statistics at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

My research interests are broadly in applied/methodological statistics, with a particular focus on incomplete data problems such as causal inference, survival analysis, and ecological survey methods, as well as efficient estimation. Much of my work involves developing statistical methods tailored to the scientific questions that motivate them.
