Hi, my name is Ben. I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of St Andrews in Scotland.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Rochester under the mentorship of Ashkan Ertefaie and Rob Strawderman. I completed my PhD at Cornell University under the supervision of Marty Wells.

My research interests include causal inference, exponential family modelling, regression penalization, semi- and non-parametric efficiency theory, and survival analysis.
